An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded near the entrance to the Dhanusha District Court in Dhanusha on Saturday. There were reports no human casualty due to the public holiday and court was closed.

Nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the bomb explosion but police suspect one of the armed outfits operating in Terai to be behind the incident.
