Normal life in nine eastern districts has come to a standstill due to the bandh called by the Federal Limbuwan State Council-Revolution on Sunday. Council imposed the bandh demanding a separate Limbuwan state.

They have expressed dissatisfaction with the federal module recently proposed by the State Restructuring and Distributing of State Power Committee in the CA.

The Committee proposed to demarcate the country into 14 states. Transportation, educational institutions, industries remained closed in nine districts.
