An unidentified armed group has shot to Nagendra Pampati, Managing Director Bharatpur Medical College in Lazimpat, Kathmandu on Tuesday evening.

According to Pampati's driver Ram Rai, the assailants came on a motorcycle and the pillion rider opened fire at Pampati just as they were entering his residence behind Hotel Shangrila.

The firing took place near the spot where media entrepreneur Jamim Shah was shot dead about a month ago.No one is hurt in the incident and Noboday has taken the responsibility of the firing.
