Chure Bhawar halted transportation in Udaypur

Activists of the Chure Bhawar Rastriya Ekata Party (CBREP) halted transportation at Gaighat, the district headquarters of Udaypur since Wednesday morning, demanding the release of its cadres who were arrested two weeks back.

Earlier, the police had detained seven activists of the party including its Vice Chairman Babu Thapa along with weapons at Fuljor in Sarlahi on Feb 18. The arrestees have been charged with murder case and possession of weapons.

The police on Tuesday had also arrested Deepak Mahat and Ramesh Karki, the cadres of CBREP who were forcing to halt transportation. Hundreds of travelers have been stranded due to the obstruction.
