Youth Wing of Unified CPN (Maoist) Young Communist League (YCL) obstructed vehicular movement in Terathum district on Thursday, saying the police personnel thrash innocent youths.

The transportation in the district has come to halt after the YCL imposed strikes demanding action against the alleged police personnel, free medical treatment to the victim.

Earlier, the Armed Police Force (APF) security personnel at Jirikhimti had severely beaten the local youth Raghu Ghimire who were returning after participating one of the sport competitions at Jirikhimti.

Gautam is the member of district secretariat of the party. Meanwhile, the police have refuted the allegation made by the YCL cadres.
