Rambabu Sahani of Ramnagar in Srinagar Bairiya VDC-8 of Bara district has been killed in police shooting on Sunday morning. (March 7).

According to the police, Sahani was killed in a retaliatory firing near Jaitapur Pasaha River in Manaharwa VDC-2 of the district.

Police added a home-made pistol, its eight rounds of bullets and two empty cartridges were also recovered from Sahani.

However, Phulbabu, the deceased's elder brother has refused his brother's involved in any armed group. Claiming that the police had arrested Rambabu on March 6 and they later killed him in fake encounter, he added.
