Maoists continue to capture private land
 

Unified CPN (Maoist) is continuing to capture private land since the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Accord.

Of the late information, they have captured almost 150 Bigahas of land belonging to various individuals in Morang and Sunsari district.

The Maoists affiliated All Nepal Squatters' Association, Sunsari chapter said, it had taken over 138 Bigahas of land to Surendra Agrahari of Chhitaha VDC of the district.

According to the locals, the Maoists have also occupied some five Bigahas of land belonging to Keshav Baduwal of the same VDC and about 1.2 Bigahas of belonging to Surendra Bahadur Niraula of Urlabari, Morang district.
