Various Educational organizations called an indefinite education sector bandh in Kailali district from Wednesday.

The association comprising Kailali Nepal Education Association, All Nepal Teachers Association, Democratic Teachers Union and Madhesh Education Forum jointly called a bandh against police atrocities.

The police had used force on teachers staging a sit-in protest in front of the District Administration Office, Kailali against the irregular distribution of the teachers relief quotas on Tuesday. The educational sector in the Kailali District has been adversely affected due to the bandh.
