Youth misbehaved woman on charge of witchcraft in Makawanpur
 

Police have arrested a youth Chandra Dwoj Waiba on Thursday (July 29) in Makawanpur district, for atrociously treating a woman on charge of being witch.

 

Twenty-two years old Waiba, resident of Dhiyal VDC in the district was arrested for misbehaved 37 years old Nanimaya Yonjan of same village about two weeks ago.

 

Area Police Office Faparbari arrested him following the pressure given by local women group. Meanwhile, Waiba told police that he mistreated her after a local shaman claimed that she was a witch.
